As part of the persistent effort to register more Filipinos to the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) offered registration services to attendees of the Tingog Family Day at Serbisyo Fair at the Quezon City Memorial Circle.

“As proactive as we have always been, the PSA will continue to make PhilSys registration convenient and accessible to more Filipinos,” said PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General. “Inaanyayahan namin ang lahat ng Pilipino na mag-register na sa PhilSys at makibahagi sa pag-abot sa layuning Makabagong Pilipinas.”

Salve Velasco registers to PhilSys at the Tingog Family Day at Serbisyo Fair.

Salve Velasco from Brgy. Culiat, Tandang Sora is currently processing her application to work abroad. She missed applying for PhilSys back in her hometown in Palawan, but expressed gratitude for the chance provided by government agencies participating in the Serbisyo Caravan.

“Nagpapasalamat po ako ng malaki talaga kasi alam ko rin po yung about sa national ID, hindi po ako [nakapag-apply] niyan doon sa amin sa Palawan. Kaya naglakas-loob po ako dito na [mag-apply] ng national ID kasi gusto ko rin na marami akong valid ID,” the 43-year-old shared.

Anita Mendiola approves of the smooth process and claims she was well taken care of during registration.

In addition, Anita Mendiola, a 68-year old resident of Brgy. Silangan, Cubao, called on other Filipinos to register, citing that the process was fast and convenient. “Okay naman. Maayos sila. Mabilis naman. Maganda at nagustuhan ko,” she said.

The Tingog Family Day at Serbisyo Fair coincided with the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) payout for 4,500 beneficiaries and was also joined by other agencies offering government services such as the Social Security Service (SSS), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and Pag-IBIG.

Meanwhile, Filipinos who have yet to register to PhilSys are welcome to walk in at any registration center nationwide. Just bring supporting documents (https://philsys.gov.ph/supporting-documents/) for validation of demographic information and collection of biometric information.

For those who have already registered, they may check if their ePhilID is already available for claiming at https://appt.philsys.gov.ph or download a PDF copy of the ePhilID on their mobile devices once they receive an official text message from the PSA.
